- Prep hair with Joico Defy Damage ProSeries 1
- Create four sections on top of the head; one in the back; one on either side of the part; and one for the money-piece.
- Start in the back section with two foils, and be sure to tease for a better blend.
- Next, do the sections on either side of the part: Place two horizontal foils on each side, teasing each one.
- For the money-piece, start at the hairline and create babylights to your desired look. For this client, we did three foils. (Pro tip: Make sure your section covers both sides of the client’s part.)
- Place two foils above each ear to connect the money-piece to the sides.
- Let process to desired level of lift. Apply toner and Defy Damage ProSeries 2, then rinse.
